Parallel diagnostics

Parallel diagnostics equipment is designed for measuring input and output signals to and from the electronic control unit (ECU) which is typically used in modern vehicles to control engine functions.
Measurements can be carried out on a system that is in operation (i.e. a running engine).
Parallel diagnosticsis further designed for measuring parameters of the elements connected to the ECU by a wiring harness.
- The actual measurement is conducted by cable connected to the breakout box sockets by adapters
- The break out box is used for actual measurement of the input and output signals of the specific elements or measuring their parameters
- The breakout box is connected to the measured elements by T-pieces (marked Deriv)
